Highly buoyant bushy impressionistic patterns, that can be taken for a large adult stonefly, grasshopper or large adult sedge. Particularly effective in faster stream water when skated across the surface. It will also work well on still waters during a sedge hatch.

I love to use these on small streams with a dropper. Something about the hackle draws the little guys out of the depths.
