TFO's answer to casting the largest flies to the meanest fish, the TFO BC Big Fly Rod. Designed in conjunction with world renowned and streamer specialist Blane Chocklett, the BC (Blane Chocklett) is an extremely powerful fly rod for species that require streamers the size of a ruler. Built upon the TFO Axiom technology, the BC Fly Rod recovers fast, tracks accurately, and delivers the necessary energy transfer for long presentations in the worst conditions. The BC Rod features a modified, composite cork full wells grip with a IFGA-compliant fighting butt for picking up and casting large, game changer style flies and sinking lines. The extended fore-grip also helps anglers better execute the circular or figure-eight style of moving a fly near the surface. 

The 8wt 9'0" is the perfect heavy fresh or light saltwater fly rod weight and length. Great for targeting bass and pike on the rivers and lakes, while bonefish, redfish, and other smaller species on the flats. We recommend pairing this with the new RIO Predator fly lines or a Scientific Anglers Titan line for maximum power and load of the fly rod.
