A brand-new saltwater rod designed by TFO with help from the legendary Flip Pallot, the TFO Mangrove Coast rod exemplifies what a true easy casting saltwater rod should be for all anglers. TFO designed the Mangrove Coast for all casting and fishing abilities. The medium fast action blank gives anglers a rod they can feel helping to time the loading of the rod to quickly present the fly to the fish. When a second matters to a presentation, eliminating false casts and increasing accuracy is going to lead to more hook-ups on the flats. The Mangrove Coast features a sturdy and strong butt section of the blank for increased power when landing fish. This powerful butt section also helps in repositioning casts in midair or picking up more than 40ft of line to start a new cast.
The Mangrove 6wt is the ultralight rod of this series. From smaller bones, peacocks, snook, seatrout and species ranging up to around 5-7lbs, the 6wt would be a terrific inshore rod. The Mangrove Coast is finished with rod components that are saltwater safe including: Fuji stripping guides, chromium-impregnated snake guides, and an aluminum reel seat with a unique hook keeper built into the reel seat.
