Hatch Nipper 2 Review : How can you make a nipper that has been best in the industry for the past 3 years? First, add a misted texture to the already very durable type II anodized aluminum to allow for a better grip on the nipper . Second, feature a new knot tension post, sized for holding smaller flies while rigging. Third, insert tungsten carbide blades designed to cut about anything while on the water. Last, include a lanyard as any fish bum will want an easy way to carry the tool! At the shop, we find that Hatch did a great job as revamping an already well designed nipper and we all agree that the Hatch Nipper is still the best!
