The Mad River is in great shape for the summer time. Good water levels, the water temperature is still a little cool, and the terrestrial bite is not bad. With a couple team members fishing the Mad River lately, it is recommend to get up there in the early morning, fish till around 11, or catch the evening bite starting around 6. The mid day hatch has been tough especially with the aluminum hatch of the liveries. Some anglers are reporting a nice little streamer bite in the early morning before sunrise.
With the boaters on the water, you will need to go north of Lippencott or south of 55 to get a space and quite after 10 am.
We have a full selection of terrestrials in shop including the must needed beetles, black and brown ants. Have a great weekend and we thank you for all the support.
