About ReelFlyRod
ReelFlyRod is a family-owned fly fishing store in Bellbrook, Ohio founded by Todd Mikesell in October, 2006. Todd understood that the vast majority of anglers don’t live within driving distance of a good, local fly shop. And so our mission was simple: Provide the 'local fly shop' experience to everyone, regardless of where they live. We’ve been providing this ‘right there in the fly shop’ experience and making everyone feel welcome for 15 years now. Our success is built on exceeding customers' expectations, with prompt communication, exceptional level of service, fast free shipping, and of course, the expert Pro Staff to help with anything you could ever need. The bottom line is, we're here to help maximize your success and enjoyment on the water!
Tour Our Fly Shop
In January 2021, ReelFlyRod moved into a state-of-the-art facility with a new, fully-stocked fly shop. The building also contains the largest inventory of premium fly fishing gear in the entire USA, along with offices, restrooms, shipping/receiving areas, kitchen/breakroom, and lots and lots of inventory. The fly shop is a fun place to visit and definitely worth the trip if you’re passing through. If that’s not an option for you, check out the virtual 360 tour of the new facility and come on in!
We are a true full-service fly shop with a strong e-commerce presence. We have a nice retail store, complete with a shop dog (Daisy), offer local guided trips, private and group casting lessons, and private on-water instruction. ReelFlyRod supports numerous fundraisers, charities, and non-profits in the community, works closely with local fly fishing clubs, partners with Five Rivers Metroparks to host free try fly fishing events, is a long standing member of AFFTA, and attends the industry IFTD convention each year.
